Angela Fisher
Angela is a compassionate counselor that partners with her clients to bring understanding and healing to
the situations that burden them. She believes that providing a safe space is vital to the healing process.
This safe space includes a collaborative approach where the client can share openly, be truly heard and
understood, and feel empowered to grow and heal through therapy.
Angela is married to a bi-vocational pastor which has provided her the opportunity to be extensively
involved with pre-marital and marriage counseling. Angela has facilitated marriage seminars that train
couples how to improve communication, promote love and respect, foster forgiveness, and cultivate a
God-honoring marriage.
Angela has also served as a lay counselor for the last 10+ years at a local non-profit that cares for
women in unplanned pregnancies. This time has exposed Angela to a wide variety of trauma and
personal conflict. She is passionate about empowering women to be set free from their past traumas
and create a dynamic and healthy plan for their future.
In addition to her mental health and marital counseling experience, Angela has been involved with
career counseling for the last two decades while working in the recruiting industry. Angela understands
the emotional dynamics that can play a part of one’s career choices, contentment, and family life.
These avenues for counseling have given Angela insight into family dynamics, economic demands, social
expectations, and spiritual pressures that must be considered when developing a comprehensive
treatment plan. Angela’s therapy style is an eclectic approach that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and the Soul Healing Love Model. This approach allows Angela to
provide custom-made therapy to meet the specific needs and goals of her clients. She does not believe
that the same approach works for every individual and makes it a priority to create a therapy plan that
will be effective for her clients.
Angela enjoys working with a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and teens. She
has experience with working with an array of mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety,
familial brokenness, spiritual abuse, emotional trauma, communication problems, relationship struggles,
and emotional dysregulation.
Angela received her masters in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University 2022. She also
holds as a BS in Government: Pre-Law from Liberty University. Angela is also a certified facilitator of the
SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) assessment. Angela is a trained Chaplain for the Rapid
Response Team of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association that focuses on grief and crisis counseling.
