  • Are their communication problems in your relationship?

  • Is there a significant emotional distance between you and your spouse?

  • Are you stressed out about life in general with each other?

  • Are you pessimistic about your future as a couple?

  • Are you and your spouse currently engaged in a power struggle?

Marriage is God’s idea. It was the first institution and He presided over the original wedding in the garden. Falling in love is so easy but staying in love is hard. In fact, marriage can be the hardest piece of work your soul will ever do. Because of this, the RCCA counselors are here to help.
We will meet with both of you and get a complete intake and family history, examine generational patterns, and set goals that both the couple and counselor agree upon.
You will learn communication tools and techniques that are designed to help you resolve conflict, reconcile differences, enhance empathy, and foster forgiveness. You will have practical, easy to learn exercises that will help you turn hurting moments into healing moments.

We offer several resources to help couples in addition to marital counseling. These include:

Seminars
Books

  • Soul Healers 15 hour Couples Intensive
  • Healing Through Forgiveness in Marriage
  • Making Your Good Marriage Great
  • The Marriage You've Always Wanted

New Womens Support Group

In a study by Focus on the Family in 2003, 47% of families said pornography is a problem in their home; and studies regarding infidelity rates suggest that 30-60% of men will have an extramarital affair in their lifetime.
In response, Rodgers Christian Counseling has an important therapeutic support group for women directly effected by their partner's sexual struggles. The group will meet for ten weeks starting Thursday January 14th from 6:30-8:00pm.We are excited to offer this group as a Biblical resource to women who have been dealing silently with their own pain.  The group is designed to focus on the women themselves and give them a chance to open up and learn from other women who are in a similar life situation. For more information or to register, please contact RCCA at 704-364-9176.
There is an entire chapter dedicated to what to look for in pre-marital counseling found in The Singlehood Phenomenon.
